Very early Colman’s Starch large and heavy blue and white porcelain enamel sign.
Made for Colman’s by Benjamin Baugh, who opened one of the first enamel sign factories in the late 19th century - The Patent Enamel Company Ltd in Selly Oak, Birmingham.
I’m guessing the “2/11” is February 1911.
In excellent condition, with just some light corrosion to the edges and some surface areas - see the photos for more details.
