Vintage converted inspection lamp

Early 20th century vintage inspection lamp completely rewired for modern day use, with new vintage-style cable, inline switch and plug.

The original leather strap is still in place with the original string binding, with wonderful patina to the wooden handle and body.

This charming, versatile piece would have originally been used to hook onto the bonnet of a car while inspecting the engine.

The cable is a generous 2.5 metres in length, enabling the lamp to be used as a table lamp or hung from a shelf or ceiling.

It's been professionally PAT tested so is ready to add some quirky style and character to any of your rooms.

Excellent - wear and tear commensurate with age and use, creating super patina and character.
