A cute and honest peg-jointed 18th-century (possibly 17th?) oak gateleg table with single end drawer, the circular drop flap top raised on wonderfully worked slender barley twist supports.
Super proportions with nice length legs. Wonderful patina and colour especially on the legs.
Very versatile - would work well as a side table, lamp table or centre table, etc.
Excellent condition for age, I've just given it a wax to bring out the rich colours. The top has the expected stains and marks, just a couple of splinters, some shrinkage gapping and a small hole, but nothing of note - see photos.
Did I mention how nice the legs are?
