I liked the form of the legs on this table - not as heavy looking as Victorian legs.
I also liked the fact that they still have their brass castors and also swing out to each corner to support the tabletop, meaning no legs in the way for seating.
The drawer has oak linings and a faux drawer at the other end.
I just gave the top a good wax to show off the fine graining and rich colour, and left the legs as they were for a more dry/matt look.
The drawer handles look correct despite signs of other handles inside the drawer, maybe some incorrect ones were added at some point then correct ones replaced those.
There's the expected wear and tear with some scratching to the edge of the top and a small splinter by one of the hinges - see photos.
There's a little movement to the table if you wobble it side to side, but not much and everything is secure and in place, so it may just be the nature of this style of leg arrangement.
Still, a very pretty and useful table!
