An original and rare vernacular Irish chair from the north of Ireland, usually associated with Antrim. I actually bought this in Antrim, so it hasn't travelled far!
Quite an abstract design, a real statement piece. It looks thrown together, but actually, a lot of thought and work has gone into the design to make it strong and practical - a good example of form following function.
Sturdy, no wobbles or looseness, and with old original paint in places. I've left this untouched, but if you would like it waxed before delivery, just let me know.
