An intriguing and charming low rocking chair. Super comfortable, perfect for by the fire or getting shoes on.
This isn't a child-size rocker though, just low - and it hasn't been cut down either. The seat is very generous in size, more than enough for an adult, wider than most Windsor chairs.
It's full of character, having a lovely patina to the seat and also across the faux bamboo spindles.
It has an almost arts and crafts or aesthetic movement feel to it.
Circa early 20th century, Possibly beech and ash.
Condition:
Excellent - no wobbles, repairs or woodworm. Spindles, legs and arms all secure etc. Actually, there's possibly an old repair where one leg meets a rocker but it's so neatly done it's hard to tell!
